The HQ series stands for high quality and is characterized by its special properties:
- an extremely hard carbonized blade
- a ground lower blade and
- an ergonomically soft anti-shock handle.
This guillotine cutter is a professional cutting device that achieves a particularly sharp paper cut, which is created by the high-quality ground steel and a self-sharpening cutting system with a second blade (lower blade). The self-sharpening occurs during the manual up and down movement during cutting, in that both blades are ground against one another. This enables a constantly sharp blade and a clean cut.
As with all guillotine cutters in the HQ series, the cutting process is provided with a transparent protective partition between the cutter blade and the rest, which ensures safe working.
What distinguishes this guillotine cutter from other devices of its type is an enlarged work surface (oversized DIN A4 size), an extra lever for even sheet pressure and the increased cutting capacity of 35 sheets. This means you can effortlessly cut paper, card stock or thicker photo paper, even if it‘s slightly larger than A4.
In addition to the special properties, the HQ 380 SE also has a movable side stop for a straight, smooth cut, an orientation ruler up to 35 cm wide, a labeled work surface and 4 non-slip feet, which help to ensure precise and handy execution.
Our lever cutters also have the GS seal, which stands for tested safety.
